Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Selcouth does not collect, receive, or share any personal data.
Everything you do in Selcouth — the words and passages you keep, your progress and rank, your
settings — belongs to you. It is stored on your device, and it syncs across your own devices
through your personal iCloud account. None of it is sent to us. We have no server, and no way
to read what you keep.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for. Syncing uses the Apple
Account already signed in on your device.
- iCloud sync. Your collection is stored in your own private iCloud
database, under your Apple Account, governed by
Apple's privacy policy. It is private to
you: we cannot see it, and neither can anyone else. Signed out of iCloud, the app simply
keeps everything on the device.
- No tracking or analytics. We use no tracking or analytics tools and do not
track you across apps or websites.
- No third parties. The app talks to nothing but Apple — iCloud for your own
sync, and the App Store for purchases.
- Purchases. Optional book collections are sold through Apple's In-App
Purchase. Those transactions are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we
never see your payment information.
- Children. Selcouth collects no data from anyone, including children.
Because we receive nothing, there is nothing to request, correct, or delete from us. To remove
the app's data from a device, delete the app. To remove the synced copy as well, delete the app
from each of your devices and then, in the Settings app, open your name → iCloud → Manage
Storage → Selcouth → Delete Data.
